Mercury and Hermes-Thoth in perpetual motion: the creative Word (Logos) transmitting the primal Will.
Winged Mercury balances upon the tip of the caduceus serpent. Around him float the four elemental weapons of the adept: the Wand (Fire), Cup (Water), Dagger (Air) and Disk (Earth), together with the papyrus of the Word, the stylus and the ape of Thoth below.

Trickery, sophistry, deceitful manipulation or scattered intellect.
